We are solely web designers. We do not provide web design as a bolt-on to another business. We work closely with our clients to ensure they get the website they want.

Our Approach

We try to understand your business first

As web designers we are entrusted to communicate what you do to your existing and potential customers. To do this successfully we must fully understand your business first.

We work with you and not for you.

Our development process is designed to ensure the client gets what they want. Clients are encouraged to review and comment at each stage. We like to hold an initial meeting (at no cost) to understand your business and what you want from your website. We will then provide a comprehensive quotation where we explain all costs.

Web Standards

We constantly monitor and apply industry best practice. F5 Design use Web Standards and associated technologies to ensure your site is fully usable and accessible. We are members of the UK Web Design Association, Guild of Accessible Web Designers and the Web Standards Group.

We explain Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

From the start of the development process we explain how to include keywords and phrases into each page of your site. We also take you through what happens after your site has launched. This can cover paid inclusion programs and pay-per-click marketing such as Google AdWords.

Costs

F5 Design is a small business and does not charge VAT saving you 17.5 %.

Development Process

F5 Design work with you and not for you. Our simple process involves the client at each stage.

Step 1
You provide the content - the text and any images including your logo if available. If you have offline brochures, these would be useful to use in the web site design to help maintain your brand and coordinate your marketing. You also need to provide 2 'Search Keywords or Phrases' for each page, that you think customers will use to find your site in Search Engines. These phrases will be incorporated into the structure of the content.
Step 2
F5 Design provide a site mockup of the content only without any 'design'. This is for you to review and agree the site navigation, content and the inclusion of your Search Engine phrases.
Step 3
After consultation, your preferred design style is then applied to the agreed content for a final version for your inspection.
Step 4
Any minor amendments are made before the site is launched.
Step 5
F5 Design submit your site to major Search Engines. Further submissions to paid inclusion programs or pay-per-click marketing are done as required.

If you require any help at each stage of the process, F5 Design are always available to offer advice.
